How We Rate Casinos

Every rating on bahatiwins comes from this scoring model. We re-score every casino quarterly, and re-test the M-Pesa deposit and withdrawal cycle before each scoring round. Below is the exact weighting and what we look for in each category.

Scoring factors

1. BCLB Licensing & Trust (20%). We verify the casino against the latest Betting Control & Licensing Board public register. Operators without a current Kenyan licence cannot score above 3/5, regardless of bonus.
2. M-Pesa Deposit & Withdrawal Speed (20%). We deposit KES 1,000 and time how long until the balance reflects. We then withdraw and time settlement back to M-Pesa. Anything over 30 minutes for withdrawals loses points.
3. Bonus Fairness & Wagering (15%). We read every welcome bonus T&C: wagering multiplier, max bet during wagering, game contribution, expiry, max cashout. 35x or lower wins points; 60x+ loses them.

6. Mobile UX on 3G (10%). We test the mobile site on a throttled 3G connection from Nairobi to simulate upcountry usage. Load time over 5s loses points.
7. Security & Responsible Gambling Tools (10%). HTTPS, 2FA, deposit limits, self-exclusion, time-out, and visible BeGambleAware links are all checked.

What makes a casino unlistable

How we stay independent
